Wagamama, the Duke Street Capital-backed chain, is to move to a new headquarters in London, after securing a space in Soho’s Wardour Street.

Legal & General Property and Walbrook Land have let 7,080sq ft on third floor at Seventy Six Wardour Street, their Soho office-based redevelopment scheme, to the David Campbell-led brand on a 15-year lease.

The group, which is set to open a new flagship site in Great Marlborough Street, currently has its headquarters in nearby Noel Street

The c110-strong company recently launched an evolved version of its site design in Uxbridge, which places the kitchen at the front of the restaurant and highlights the “freshness and vibrancy of the brand”.

The group is to open a flagship restaurant in Gatwick’s North Terminal next summer.

It is also lining up openings in Swindon and Winchester.
