Wagamama, the Duke Street-backed chain, is to open a site at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet at York next week.
The new site will be situated in the scheme’s food quarter and opens next Wednesday. It is set to be joined by Ed’s Easy Dinner at the development.
Wagamama, which opened its 96th UK restaurant recently at Ocean Terminal in Edinburgh, is also on site at the Xscape in Milton Keynes; the former La Tasca unit in Cabots Circus, Bristol; and on the former Waterstones unit in Maidstone.
It has also secured a unit at the Designer Outlet at Wembley and has exchanged on a site at Derby Westfield.
Declan Woodward, general manager of Wagamama York, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening in McArthurGlen’s York Designer Outlet, and to expand our network in the North. We look forward to welcoming shoppers as they refuel after browsing the great range of shops at the centre.”
