Vinoteca, the fledgling wine bar and restaurant chain, has secured its fifth site in London in King’s Cross.

The company, which was launched in September 2005 by Charlie Young and Brett Woonton, has secured a site in the 1 St Pancras Square scheme. It is thought that two further deals are close to being secured for the scheme.

Drake & Morgan is also set to launch a site at the scheme next year, which will also be home to Google’s new head quarters

Paul Campbell, formerly chief executive of the Clapham House Group, took a significant minority stake in Vinoteca through his investment vehicle Hill Capital Partners in 2012.

Campbell became a director of the business and is advising on its expansion.

The chain currently operates sites in St John’s Street, Farringdon, in Beak Street, Soho and in Seymour Place, Marylebone and in Chiswick.

Lunson Mitchenall is thought to have acted on the King’s Cross deal on behalf of landlord Argent.
