Vietnamese Kitchen, the London-based Vietnamese restaurant operator, is “actively looking” for more sites for its evolved format, M&C Report has learnt.

The company has taken the site of the Burlington Café at 9 Poland Street in Soho for its fifth site, the new 1,157 sq ft restaurant called Keu Soho, which will trade across ground and basement levels. It will be the first Vietnamese Kitchen site to offer take-away as well as a dine-in.

Hieu Bui of Vietnamese Kitchen said: “Vietnamese Kitchen is actively looking for similar sites to grow Keu’s offering of the Banh Mi [bread]. The new Poland Street site is a great extension for the brand and will help enhance the popularity of Keu as a Vietnamese deli making fresh sandwiches, noodles and buns from scratch every day.”

Sally French of Restaurant Property advised the Burlington Café on the transaction.

The new acquisition takes Vietnamese Kitchen’s estate to five restaurants, joining Viet Grill on Kingsland Road, Keu in Old Street and two Cây Tre outlets, one also on Old Street and one on Dean Street in Soho.
