Various Eateries is to follow up its 31 Below concept in Marylebone with a new concept in Camden called 40 Zero, MCA has learnt.

The site, pitched as an all-day neighbourhood café bar, is due to open its doors in late November on the site of its former Strada restaurant at 40 Parkway.

The design of 40 Zero is inspired by Camden’s rich history, and has been curated by leading hospitality designers Russell Sage Studios.

Sue Walter, chief executive of Various Eateries, said: “We create, relaxed spaces where you can choose a coffee or a cocktail, a snack or feast and hang out all day every day. We love bars and we want to do them better than anyone else.”

There will be an all-day food and drink menu featuring Grind coffee and shakes in the morning to hand stretched sourdough pizza from the wood oven in the evening. The cocktail menu featuring signature Negroni’s and Espresso Martini flights.

Various Eateries, parent company of Strada and Coppa Club, closed the Camden Strada last Christmas as part of a collection of 11 restaurant closures.

31 Below opened in the former Strada site in Marylebone in February this year.
