Turtle Bay, the fast-growing, Piper-backed brand, has moved closer to opening in Dalston.
The 22-strong group, which will open in Brixton next month, is understood to have lined up an opening in Labyrinth Tower, Dalston Square for before the end of the year.
It is also thought to be exploring opportunities in Camden and Peckham.
Thje company, which recently launched in York, will open a 4,000sq ft restaurant at 382-384 Brixton Road.
It recently secured a site in Newcastle in Newgate Street, close to The Gate retail complex.
It plans to open 12 restaurants in total this year.
