Pho, Tortilla and Pizza Luxe will all open sites as part of the new Kitchen food hall at the Trinity Leeds development, which is set to open on 21 March next year, M&C Report has learnt.
They will be joined by Chicago Rib Shack, Chip & Fish, Notes Wine & Coffee Shop and Circle Champagne Bar in the 17,000sq ft food hall at the one million sq ft scheme, which has been developed by Land Securities.
The openings will constitute debuts outside London for the majority of the operators and the first sites in the north for Pho and Tortilla.
Pho, the Isis Equity Partners-backed Vietnamese fast-casual concept founded and led by Stephen and Juliette Wall, currently operates seven sites, including six in the capital, while Tortilla, the Mexican fast-casual dining chain, is on track to operate 11 sites by the end of the year.
Notes currently operates two sites in London’s Covent Garden, while Pizza Luze, the concept founded by Laura Pabon and her partner Paul Goodale, ex-chief executive of Fishworks, opened its first standalone site at Westfield Stratford last November.
Circle, which is led by Craig Ince, launched its second site in N ewcastle’s Metro Centre earlier this year and is thought to have already lined up a further opening at the Lakeside centre in Thurrock.
The Chicago Rib Shack site will be a second unit for the ‘baby shack’ fast casual dining concept led by Christian Arden, which launched in Westfield Stratford along with the first Chip + Fish in September 2011.
Carluccio’s, TGI Friday’s, YO! Sushi, Handmade Burger Co. and Giraffe have also signed up to open at the scheme, while D&D London will be operating two roof top restaurants.
