The Restaurant Group (TRG) continues to grow its pipeline for its American-style Coast to Coast brand, after securing a unit in Chelmsford.
The company, which will have 10 sites running under the brand by the end of this year, has taken a 5,000sq ft on the first floor of the town’s Bond Street shopping centre, which is due to open in 2015.
Byron and ASK Italian will each occupy a riverside restaurant joining Loch Fyne and Prezzo on the site.
Further retail and leisure lettings will exchange imminently, including a luxury digital cinema.
TRG will open six new sites under its Coast to Coast brand this year, but chief executive Andrew Page expects to top that figure in 2014.
Further openings in Rochester and Birmingham are lined up for this year, while a site in Sheffield is already secured for 2014.
