The entire board of The Restaurant Group, the quoted operator of Frankie & Benny’s, Chiquito and Garfunkel’s, have bought shares in the company.
Eight directors, including chairman Alan Jackson and chief executive Andrew Page, yesterday purchased over £250,000 of shares at prices ranging between 311p and 315p.
Jackson and Page acquired 8,000 shares each, taking their respective holdings to 378,198 and 258,173 shares, worth £1.2m and £0.82m.
The shares this morning were up marginally at 318.25p, valuing the group’s share capital at just over £620m.
