Travelodge has announced a revamp of its dinner menu across its bar café hotels in major UK cities, towns and airport locations.

Part of the budget hotel group’s brand transformation programme, the menu aims to bring it the food offer up to date with the “changing tastes of modern budget travellers”.

It offers two courses for £12 and a complementary children’s menu, and includes vegan and vegetarian dishes.

Streamlined options include stone baked pizzas, brioche burgers, superfood salad, chicken tikka masala and steak and ale pudding.

Travelodge has also extended its bar menu with a wider range of aperitifs, gins and wine.

In its non-bar café hotels, Travelodge launched an exclusive partnership earlier this year with itsu grocery, offering customers convenience noodles and Asian-inspired snacks.
