Oliver Peyton, the restaurateur, has opened a third site under his Peyton and Byrne café concept, at St Pancras International station. The site, which is situated in the Arcade section of the recently re-open station, offers a mix of traditional British pies, soups, salads and grills, plus a range of terrines and tarts. Peyton currently operates sites under the brand at the Wellcome Trust’s new £30m Wellcome Venue in the capital, and at Heal’s on Tottenham Court Road. A number of other well-known operators are also set to open at the redeveloped station’s Circle section, which will fully launch in March, including Yo! Sushi, Carluccio’s, Fine Burger and Chop’d. Glendola Leisure has opened a new venue called Café du Vin at the redevelopment, which offers wines, cheeses and Italian hams, while le Pain Quotidien, Paul, Crepe Affaire have also taken units at the station. Outlets operated by Pret a Manger, the Camden Food Company, Starbucks, Caffe Nero and Costa, are also included in the station’s food and drink offer.
