The Naked Deli, the Foresight-backed healthy eating group, has taken on two empty shops in Newcastle’s Grand Central Arcade.

The four-strong, North East-based chain, which recently secured £2.5m of investment, plans to combine 97 and 99 Grey Street for a restaurant, takeaway and pavement cafe.

Chaired by former Leon managing director John Upton, the brand recently opened at Newcastle Airport, part of a plan to open 20 restaurants across the UK.
