The Ivy Collection, the Richard Caring-backed group, has dropped a hint at where it hopes to expand to over the coming 12-18 months, with a list of target locations appearing on its website.

Starting with the question “receive news from?” consumers are asked to tick boxes for a number of towns and cities the group is currently not represented in, including Birmingham, Exeter, Leeds, Manchester, Cambridge, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

It also features locations the group has already been linked to, such as Battersea, Marlow, Islington and York.

The group, which is also in talks on a site in the City, has already secured sites in Cobham, Guildford, One Tower Bridge, Soho, Bath and Richmond for openings next year.

It recently acquired the All Bar One in Hill Street, Richmond, from Mitchells & Butlers.

As revealed by MCA in September, the company has secured the La Rive restaurant that opened in Cobham’s High Street last year for an opening in early 2017.

The company, which opened its latest Ivy Café last month in St John’s Wood, recently confirmed it will open a site in Guildford next year at the Tunsgate Quarter development.

The company, which is set to open Soho Ivy Brasserie on the ground floor of 30 Broadwick Street (formerly St Lawrence House), will take 8,500sq ft. located over two levels, including an alfresco dining terrace, at the regeneration scheme in Guildford.

Caring is also believed to be in talks to take a space at 85 Piccadilly, again for a restaurant under his growing The Ivy brand.

The Ivy Collection currently operates six sites in London, under its Grill, Brasserie and Café formats, plus a site in Bristol.
