The Breakfast Club, the licensed all-day café concept, is set to further strengthen its regional presence after lining up a site in Oxford, MCA understands.

The 10-strong group, which topped this year’s AlixPartners Growth Tracker, is understood to have signed up to open in the Westgate scheme in the city, which is set to open next autumn.

The company, which recently opened at Boxpark Croydon, will join Comptoir Libanais, The Alchemist, Sticks ‘n’ Sushi and Shoryu Ramen at the scheme.

Co-founder Jonathan Arana-Morton told MCA last year that the company would be looking to add two to three sites per year going forward.

He said that the group had received approaches regarding new investment but was set to rely on cashflow and bank funding to support its growth for the foreseeable future.

Davis Coffer Lyons acted on the Westgate scheme deal.
