Temakinho, the Japanese-Brazilian restaurant concept, is set to launch in the UK, after securing a site in London’s Soho, MCA understands.

The five strong chain, which was founded in 2012 by the Maroli family, has secured the Taro Noodles & Sushi Bar site at 10 Old Compton Street.

The group currently operates two sites in Rome, two in Milan and a further restaurant in Ibiza.

It generated revenues of approximately €9m in 2015 and forecasts that growing to €15m this year.

The sale of the Old Compton Street site leave Taro with remaining units in Cannon Street and Brewer Street.
