Telepizza, the Spanish delivery chain, has secured its second UK site, with six more sites lined up in Manchester and central London, MCA has learnt.
The second Telepizza store will open on 57 Brighton Road, Surbiton, in the Southwest London, with opening scheduled for mid-December.
The Spanish group is working with three regional franchisees in the UK, the largest being Karali Ventures, which is one of the largest Burger King operators in the UK, and has an agreement to open 80 stores over the next ten years.
Telepizza is the largest non-US-based pizza delivery company in the world by number of stores, and plans to open a minimum of 300 stores, with 20-30 franchisees, that will develop 30 regional markets around the UK within the next ten years.
Approximately 35% of Telepizza stores worldwide are owned and operated by Telepizza, while around 65% are owned by franchises and master franchises.
