Telepizza, the largest pizza delivery company outside of the USA, has entered into a binding agreement to buy Swiss delivery brand, Pizza Blitz.

The additional 10 stores bring Telepizza’s global network to 1,352 stores. The company aims to triple its market share over the next three years.

As revealed by MCA earlier this month, the group has secured its first UK site, at the Treaty Shopping Centre in Hounslow.

Telepizza’s president of international, Giorgio Minardi, said: “We are delighted with this new acquisition as it marks another step towards achieving our ambitious expansion plans. Switzerland is an important market for us; we know our outstanding customer service and excellent product quality will appeal to Swiss consumers.”
