Tea 42, the Manchester-based gluten-free specialty café, has secured its second site in the Village area of the city as part of plans to expand further in the city.
The two-storey site on Chorlton Street will comprise a restaurant and lounge bar area across the floors with clearly defined areas for each to offer all-day dining, drinks and snacks to 250 covers.
The restaurant will open in April 2015 serving a free-from menu and gourmet day time dishes, homemade cakes, tea, cocktails and wines.
The self-funded business was established by Will Hannah and Jason Abbott in 2013 in Manchester’s Northern Quarter and last year they announced plans to open across the north west before taking the concept to London.
