Tasty, the AIM-listed restaurant group, is to become the latest operator to move into the burger market, with plans to open a pilot unit under the name Lucky Burger next to its upcoming Wildwood opening in Oakham.
It is understood that the group, which is led by Jonny Plant and Sam Kaye, is to house the US-influenced fast casual concept in a unit next to the main Wildwood opening that is scheduled for the end of September.
It is thought that the group will access Lucky Burger’s impact before considering further sites under the format.
Kaye was previously behind the Ground burger site, which operated on the now Union Jacks site in Chiswick.
