Italian restaurant concept Rustico has launched its eighth site in Hailsham.

The Neapolitan Street Food Eatery-owned brand, which currently operates seven restaurants across the South East, opened a new site in Eastbourne just before Christmas, and has today (26 January) launched its eighth restaurant in Hailsham High Street.

Initially open for delivery and collection, the concept offers a selection of Neapolitan street food and pizzas, alongside a retail offer including coffee, cannoli pastry, sauces, pasta and crockery.

Co-founder Claudio Ganadu told the Eastbourne Herald: “During lockdown, we have worked really hard for survival and probably we have been lucky too. We moved all our focus on the collection and delivery side, creating and adjusting the menu offer.

“We believe our offer is good value for money, and thanks to technology ordering online is much easier than used to be.”
