KellyDeli, the operator of Sushi Daily, is to open its first standalone grab-and-go site in London next month.
The company will open its first site under the restaurant concept on New Oxford Street on 14 December, with plans to roll out further sites if the format proves successful.
The concept is being overseen by Silla Bjerrum, the former managing director and executive chef of Feng Sushi, who joined KellyDeli earlier this year.
The company is also thought to have agreed a deal with a national high street retailer to operate concessions within its stores.
Wife and husband Kelly Choi and Jerome Castaing founded KellyDeli a as the first shop-in-shop Sushi bar in a European supermarket.
KellyDeli has since partnered with more than 30 international retailers across Europe under its Sushi Daily brand, with in 800 kiosks in 10 European countries, and a 400m euros in sales.
It operates in retail, convenience stores, department stores, airports, train stations, high street, and food courts.
Last month, the company appointed its first externally-recruited chief executive, Silvano Delnegro.
Delnegro was previously chief executive of Autogrill, the Italy-based multinational catering company.
