Gemma Stocks has stepped down as head of restaurants at CAU to join the North Eastr-based leisure operator, the Cairn Group, MCA understands.
Stocks spent over two years as head of restaurants at the Equistone-backed brand, helping it to grow to 18 sites across the UK.
She joins Cairn as its new head of operations.
The Cairn Group recently announced plans to open its first site outside its north east heartland, with The Lobby bar and restaurant set to open in Birmingham.
CAU has further openings lined up in Exeter and Southampton’s Watermark scheme.
It recently opened its second site in in Scotland, in Edinburgh, and a restaurant in Harrogate. It is also in talks on sites in York and Ealing.
