Steak of the Art, a restaurant and art gallery concept is looking to expand from its Bristol home following investment of £7.5m to open more restaurants over the next five years.

The first restaurant opened in 2013 in Bristol combining food and art with its own gallery. A second venue opened earlier this year in Cardiff.

Steve Bowen, who founded the restaurant, told The Bristol Post: “We’ve invested close to £2m in the past 18 months employing nearly 60 people and at a time when business investment in the UK is in decline makes our success even more notable.

“Looking forward we now plan to open more venues with an investment programme of around £7.5m over the next five years.”
