Tomahawk restaurant group will open its debut restaurant in London this week.

Set to open in the former site of Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen in Hoxton, the restaurant will be the group’s 10th restaurant under the Tomahawk Steakhouse concept.

The opening will mark Tomahawk’s second opening in a matter of months, having launched a site in York at the end of August.

The group also operates restaurants in Darlington, Beverley, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Northumberland and parts of Yorkshire, as well as additional concepts Rio Brazilian Steakhouse and Pollo Chicken Shop.

“When it comes to venues and growing the business, Tomahawk is a company that pushes boundaries, we always have been,” said owner and founder Howard Eggleston. “Expansion plans and potential site visits have not stopped even in the lockdown.

“We had seen quite a few venues in London prior to this one, but Westland Place just felt right. All our Tomahawk venues have something special about them and this one really is our little gem.

“The Tomahawk branding is strong and we feel it’s something that can work in London.

“The lockdown is a tricky situation to navigate in any industry, but if the people of London are as frustrated as we are, I’m sure they will welcome a new kid on the Hoxton block.”
