SSP Group has secured a new ten-year contract at Dublin Airport which will see it trade 24 units.

In addition to recognised international brands, SSP will introduce a number of up and coming local brands like all-day Irish bar and kitchen Whiskey Bread, Galway based burger concept Handsome Burger, healthy food chain Camile Thai Kitchen, and Dublin’s first micro roastery, Cloud Picker Coffee Roasters.

Once the investment programme is completed, it is expected to contribute approximately €40-50m revenue per annum by 2023.

The new outlets will incorporate technology like mobile order at table and focus on the removal of single-use plastic.

Last month, SSP reported a “good start to the financial year” in its Q1 trading update with a like for like sales uplift of 1.2% and total group revenue growth of 7.5%.
