Soho House, the bar, restaurant and private members club company headed by Nick Jones, is to launch new venture Soho Diner on the site of its Boheme Kitchen Bar (BHB) in London.

Soho Diner in Old Compton Street will be a French-American inspired restaurant open daily until late, with an opening planned for July.

Last year, the group, which operates the Pizza Easst and Chixcken Shop brands, teamed up with the Chicago-based restaurateur Brendan Sodikoff to open two new outlets in London’s Notting Hill.

Sodikoff, who runs six restaurants in Chicago, teamed up with Jones to launch his first overseas ventures, the Electric Diner and Electric Donuts on Portobello Road.

The 75-cover restaurant is inspired by Sodikoff’s acclaimed Au Cheval restaurant, which offers an all-day French-American menu.

The group also operates the Dirty Burger format and it is thought to be looking at further locations for the concept, with Vauxhall mooted as a possible target destination.
