Shake Shack is set to open in St Pancras International, home to the Eurostar, in early summer 2024.

It marks the 17th UK location for the New York burger restaurant chain.

The new site at Unit 17A The Circle, will offer core menu items, including breakfast burgers, the signature ShackBurger, Crinkle-Cut Fries, Flat-top Dogs, ShackMeister® Ale and hand-spun shakes in addition to special menu items unique to Shake Shack St Pancras.

This month, Shake Shack appointed Papa Johns CEO and president Rob Lynch as its CEO and board member.

Lynch succeeds Randy Garutti, who announced his retirement late last year.

Garutti, who has been with Shake Shack since the brand’s started as a hot dog cart over 20 years ago, will remain with the business as an advisor through the end of the year to help with the transition.

The business has some 500 locations worldwide, with the UK territory run under a master franchise agreement by Diverse Dining, which is ultimately owned by Kuwait-based franchise operator Alshaya Group.

The brand was founded and is chaired by New York restaurateur Danny Meyer.
