Shake Shack, the Danny Meyer-founded burger concept, is in talks to take a site at Land Securities Nova development in London’s Victoria, M&C Report understands.
The company, which made its debut in the UK last summer through franchise partner M.H. Alshaya Co, is believed to be one of a number of operators, including Jason Atherton and Jamie Oliver, in talks to take space at the 897,000sq ft mixed-use scheme that is scheduled to open in 2016.
Shake Shack is believed to have been exploring a number of sites in regards to opening a further outlet in the UK.
It is understood that the group believes there is scope to open a minimum of three sites under the brand here and has previously been linked with taking a unit at 1 Leicester Square.
Nova, Victoria will include 85,000sq ft of retail, cafes and restaurants and 16,000sq ft of community space.
Michelin-starred chef Atherton is in early talks to open a pizzeria concept at the scheme.
