Santi Italian is opening its second branch on the site of the former Tinseltown American Diner in Watford.
CDG Leisure secured a 3,132 sq ft unit at 63 The Parade, Watford, for the Italian restaurant and pizzeria brand.
Santi debuted at East Village - the former Athlete’s Village of the London 2012 Olympic Games - in July 2016.
The menu has been developed by head chef Francesco Pisani and showcases classic dishes which were selected to represent the broad spectrum of Italian gastronomy.
Alternating weekly specials highlight lesser-known hidden gems from specific regions of the country.
Pisani trained at the Istituto Alberghiero dei Servizi Turistici e Gastronomici Florenz and the Istituto Passerelli as a master of the kitchen, and as a member of Federazioni Italiana Cuochiand.
Salvatore Di Natale, of CDG Leisure, said: “We are very excited to aid the expansion of this fantastic authentic Italian restaurant and pizzeria.”
