Red Dog Saloon has confirmed that its first regional opening – its fourth in total – will be in Nottingham.

The group will open an outlet in the city’s Victoria Street next month, followed by Liverpool and Southampton and plans to open five sites a year going forward with the aim of growing to 60 sites.

The first Red Dog Saloon opened in Hoxton in 2011, followed by Soho and Clapham.

Owner Tom Brooke said: “Nottingham was always the ideal choice for us. The city has a thriving food and drink scene and, as a family-run business which is passionate about the food we serve, we feel that we can offer something truly authentic, high quality and great value for money.

“To open a restaurant outside London is big step for us but it is also very exciting. Having already developed a loyal following, we can’t wait to prove to Nottingham and other cities why Red Dog Saloon is the go-to-place for diners who love authentic American burgers and ribs.

“We aim to become the number one American restaurant brand in the UK with 60 sites nationwide.”
