The Real Greek, the Fulham Shore-owned Mediterranean brand, has confirmed its new site in Soho at 50 Berwick Street to open 4 March.

The 75-cover restaurant will be the company’s seventh restaurant in the capital and the eighth in the UK.

The 1,716sq ft restaurant, which is adjacent to Oxford Street, will serve traditional hot and cold meze dishes, designed for sharing made using many ingredients imported directly from Greece.

Christos Karatzenis, head of operations at The Real Greek, said: “Berwick Street is a foodie mecca for many Londoners – from the lively market to the huge mix of unique restaurants. It receives huge footfall from local office workers, tourists and shoppers, all of whom are seeking a laid back and sociable dining experience. Since the launch of the first The Real Greek in 1999, we have noticed there’s a real appetite for Eastern Mediterranean food, which is healthy and nutritious, and we have opened and continue to open our restaurants to accommodate this growing demand.”
