Randy’s Wing Bar, chicken wing concept, is set to open its second site in the capital, with an opening lined up in Aldgate, MCA understands.
The concept, which was friends Richard Thacker and Andy Watts, is understood to have lined up an opening at 30-33 Minories for later this year.
Randy’s Wing Bar opened its first permanent site last year at Hackney’s Here East development.
Thacker and Watts started cooking their chicken wings at pop-ups, festivals and events in London four years ago.
The concept’s menu centres around five styles of wings, which take inspiration from different world cuisines. They include North American Buffalo (fried and tossed in a spicy Buffalo sauce with truffle blue cheese) and Bombay (marinated in Indian spices, oven baked, robata grilled and served with raita).
Davis Coffer Lyons is marketing the Minories site.
