Gordon Ramsay has launched his latest restaurant Maze in South Africa amid growing uncertainty about the financial health of his business portfolio. The chef opened the 170-cover restaurant in Cape Town at the luxury One&Only hotel, which is the latest project of billionaire businessman Sol Kerzner. Ramsay said: “I fully expect this will quickly become another of our successful and sought-after restaurants.” Gordon Ramsay Holdings, which currently owns 25 eateries worldwide, recently handed back control of several of his ventures including the Maze in Prague, his restaurant in the Trianon Palace in Paris and his eatery at The London hotel in West Hollywood.
