Prezzo has secured a site in Edinburgh for its Chimichanga brand, according to The Scotsman.
The newspaper reports that the site of the former Bar Roma in the city’s west end has been acquired, with an opening due next month.
In January, M&C reported that the Jonathan Kaye-led group, has lined up a further three sites for its Mexican brand, Chimichanga, as it closes in on the 40-site mark. Other planned openings are in Herford – at the Old Livestock Market development, in St Neots and in Welwyn Garden City.
He said that the chain was also seeking a flagship site in central London for the brand.
