Claire Clark, the acclaimed pastry chef, is to run a pop-up patisserie at London department store Harvey Nichols for two months. Clarke will run her mini patisserie on the fifth floor of the Knightsbridge store from 13 September to 13 November. She will offer a range of pastries inspired by childhood favourites including Jaffa cake macaroons, fizzy strawberry marshmallows and mint rocky road. Clark, who was previously executive pastry chef at Thomas Keller's three-Michelin starred French Laundry in Napa Valley, California, will also create a special afternoon tea offer.
