Poncho8, the London-based, fast-growing burrito concept, will launch a new grab ‘n’ go Mexican range to coincide with the opening of its next site in Paddington next month, M&C Report understands.

The group, which is looking to grow from five to 15 sites next year, has secured its latest unit in Sheldon Square.

Developed over 12 months by the group’s in-house development chef, highlights from the new menu include: a grilled chicken and chorizo wrap and Poncho’s pulled pork tortas.

The company said that the menu would be seen “as a confident step forward, setting new standards for fast-casual Mexican food and making Poncho 8 accessible to Paddington’s workers, residents and shoppers”.

The new store will also feature a full barista coffee range made with Mexican coffee beans sourced from Hackney-based coffee roastery, Climpson & Sons.

Artwork and graphics to launch the new grab ‘n’ go range have been created by a graphic design studio in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Poncho 8 already offers a free delivery service for breakfast and burritos to the entire Square Mile (from Holborn to Old Street, Whitechapel to London Bridge), where only 45 minutes warning is required and a £15 minimum spend. This range will be extended to include Paddington, Maida Vale and Notting Hill in 2014.

The group, which secured new funding from Metro Bank earlier this summer, has already signed on a new site that is under development in Canary Wharf. It will open next September.
