Island Poke, a new takeaway concept, is set to launch in Soho’s Kingly Court, MCA understands.

The concept is the brainchild of James Gould Porter and is believed to have received the backing of Chris Miller of the White Rabbit Fund and advice from the team behind Rum Kitchen.

The new venue will be open from seven days per week from 8am to 9pm and will be serving up Poke, the product originally from Hawaii which consists of a mix of raw cubes of fish with a soy based dressing served in a bowl with sushi rice and garnish.

Customers will be served along a production line. There will also be a small area of seating for people to eat in house.

Davis Coffer Lyons is believed to have acted on the Kingly Court deal.
