Pizza Pilgrims, the London-based sourdough pizzeria concept, has secured a site in London’s Docklands for a fifth opening, MCA has learnt.

The concept founded by brothers Thom and James Elliot is understood to have acquired the former Strada unit in West India Quay for an opening later this year.

Earlier this year, MCA revealed that the group had secured the former Sesame unit at 23 Garrick Street, Covent Garden, for an opening this summer.

Sesame, the Middle-Eastern street-food style concept from Ottolenghi co-founder Noam Bar, closed earlier this year

Pizza Pilgrims currently operates in Kingly Street, Exmouth Market and Dean Street.

The group will join new openings by Drake & Morgan and Burger & Lobster at West India Quay.
