Pizza Express, the c400-strong chain, has further bolstered its management team, with the appointment of Mark Jones as its new property director.
Jones previously spent nearly eight years as group acquisitions manager for the chain’s parent company Gondola. Prior to that he spent four years as head of retail real estate at Nike Retail.
His appointment follows that of James Spragg, former chief executive at Yellowhammer Bars and sector consultant, as an interim operations director for the pizza chain.
Both appointments come as the group is in the process of finding a replacement for former chief executive Steve Easterbrook, who left the company last month to join Wagamama.
