Piccola Cucina, the New York-based Italian restaurant group, which is set to open its first site in the UK later this year, is thought to have already agreed to take a second site in Marylebone.

The group, which earlier this year secured the former Rossopomodoro restaurant in Notting Hill, is believed to be in talks to open in George Street, on what used to be the site of the Worcester Arms.

The group, which is led by chef Philip Guardione, will open its first UK site at 184-186 Kensington Road.

The company, which currently operates restaurants in New York, Miami, Ibiza and Sardinia, has a further site under offer in Knightsbridge.

Dean Gambles & Co is acting for Piccolo Cucina.
