Patty & Bun, the burger concept founded by Joe Grossman, has confirmed it has lined up its fourth site in London, with an opening set for Soho.

As revealed by M&C last week, the group, which recently opened a site in London Fields, has agreed to take the former Stockpot site in Old Compton Street for an opening early next year.

M&C understands the Grossman is also looking to launch a new format in the new year, thought to be called Patty Melt – focused around a cheese, patty and pickle melt offer.

The company’s recent opening in a railway arch in Mentmore Terrace is being used as a restaurant and “prep spot” for its other units.

It joined its existing sites in James Street and Liverpool Street.

The company, which previously occupied spaces at the Doodle Bar in Battersea and Endurance pub in Soho, opened its first site in November 2012 in James Street on another former Stockpot unit.

Shelley Sandzer acted on the Soho deal.

Kit Alexander at Shelley Sandzer, said: “Old Compton Street is one of Soho’s hotspots for cool dining brands and we have secured a great site for Patty&Bun. It is such a busy area that draws people in from all over London and we are sure that the brand will make a massive success of the location.”

Grossman added: “Shelley Sandzer were instrumental in helping us land this new site and we can not wait to sink our teeth into it. The next opening for Patty&Bun was something we had to consider very carefully and we were provided with this great option. Now, we look forward to bringing the ultimate comfort food and a truly memorable burger experience to the west end.”
