Lisa Parsons, former commercial director at Tragus, has joined roadside services operator Welcome Break as interim marketing director, M&C Report understands.

Parsons left Tragus late last year after 13 years with the Strada and Café Rouge operator, which included five years as marketing and buying director. She has recently been working with Pizza Express operator Gondola on a consultancy basis.

Her departure was part of the restructure of Tragus’ management team under new chief executive John Derkach, which has also seen her husband James Parsons, chief operating officer, and Jemima Bird, marketing director, leave the company.

It is thought that she is consulting across a number of Gondola’s brands.

Welcome Break, one of Britain’s biggest operators of motorway service stations, is rolling out Papa John’s pizza to all of its 29 sites over the next two years.
