Yotam Ottolenghi, the high-profile chef and operator of the eponymous upmarket vegetarian deli shop-meets-café concept, is to open a new restaurant and deli in London’s Spitalfields next spring.

Ottolenghi has taken a 25-year lease on a 3,746sq ft Grade II-listed building at 9-12 Artillery Passage, with an annual rent of £165k.

The ground floor of the site will trade as a restaurant and delicatessen, whilst the upper floors will feature a prep area alongside offices.

The chef currently operates three sites under his restaurant and deli concept in Belgravia, Islington and Notting Hill, plus the Nopi restaurant in Soho.

Ottolenghi was represented by Jon Puddifant at Shackleton Property.
