Operators including Sam and Eddie Hart, the brothers behind Barrafina, and the Columbo Group, are believed to be in talks to open new sites in Granary Square, King’s Cross.
The Hart brothers, which launched Mexican taqueria restaurant, El Pastór, last November in Stoney Street, Borough Market, are in talk to take space at the Coal Drops Yard building.
At the same time, Columbo and the team behind Padella in Borough Market are in talks to take sites underneath and behind the Universal Music Headquarters respectively.
Earlier this year, Jamie Oliver announced he was pulling out of plans to open a new pub restaurant and offices at the Fish and Coal offices building at the scheme.
This is now set to be occupied by design company Tom Dixon.
