Noble Hospitality Group has announced it is entering a new phase of expansion, with a focus on each brand in its portfolio.

The group behind Angus Steakhouse, Chotto Matte, Steak and Company, and Alley Cats Pizza has revealed a roadmap for future growth along with trading highlights over the past year.

Angus Steakhouse revenue grew over 16%, while Steak and Company grew 6.3% since the implementation of a new strategy involving digital innovation and menu enhancements.

The successful launches of Chotto Matte in San Francisco and Alley Cats Pizza in London were “standout moments” for the group.

Nikkei concept Chotto Matte remains dedicated to its global growth plan, with a focus on international franchise openings such as Tbilisi and Riyadh. Upcoming openings include Manchester and Mila as the group looks to grow its portfolio globally.

The concept currently has six locations, including two in London and one each in Doha, San Francisco, Miami, and Toronto.

New York-style concept Alley Cats Pizza, launched in Marylebone in December 2023, is set to expand its portfolio across the capital to cater to the growing demand for artisanal pizza, according to the group.

The “robust” operational model allows for quick and efficient expansion, with locations in London already in the pipeline.

Angus Steakhouse will continue to grow its presence with new stores featuring contemporary designs, having recently updated its menu for increased focus on local produce and premium quality cuts.

The chain, which operates five sites across central London, will introduce a new design with its next opening to reflect the evolution of the brand, followed by refurbishments of current restaurants.

The group’s other steakhouse concept, Steak and Company, operates four London venues and has one site in the pipeline. It will continue to focus on seasonal specials and a premium offering, while introducing an elevated design.

Noble Hospitality also continues to develop new concepts, one of which will soon make its debut in London.

The company further announced key leadership appointments, including Paul Sarlas as chief executive officer for the group. Sarlas’ experience includes tenures as managing director for Chotto Matte, Steak and Company, and Angus Steakhouse, with his contributions key in driving success for the brands.

Olivier Flamant has been appointed MD for Chotto Matte, having previously served as CEO at Dogus Group and leading the global Coya brand. His past roles also include F&B director for the Americas at Melia Hotels and CEO at Cool Inc, shaping a portfolio of 23 international F&B establishments.

Chotto Matte founder Kurt Zdesar will continue to play an integral role to further elevate the concept on the global stage.
