Nicholson’s, the 80-strong Mitchells & Butlers-owned pub brand, is to stock a beer brewed by pop band Madness under a 12-week trial.
The beer is called Gladness from Growler Brewery.
Nicholson’s assistant brand manager Ben Lockwood said: “We were delighted to support a great British band rooting for quality tasting ale in British pubs.
“As well as being the exclusive distributor for the first 12 weeks, we will also be supporting the beer along with other interesting brews during our forthcoming Summer Ales festival between 7 July and 4 August.”
