A new company led by Prezzo founder Jonathan Kaye has submitted plans to convert a former bank in Leamington Spa into a restaurant.
According to Insider Media the application was prepared by Corstorphine + Wright on behalf of Regis 2000 Ltd. According to Companies House records, Kaye is the sole director of Regis 2000.
The plans propose the change of use of 148 to 150 The Parade to house a restaurant and five apartments.
A statement included in the plans said: “The premises are currently unoccupied, which is unattractive to the local street scene.
“The external façades will remain unaltered with the exception of cosmetic repair and redecoration and the proposed development will ensure they are maintained for the future.
“We therefore conclude the impact on the character and appearance of the listed building and the surrounding conservation area will be positive and should be supported.”
