Mr Pretzels, the snack concept, is planning to open three to four new kiosk sites in the UK by the end of 2006.
The new kiosks would be company-owned, and located at major shopping centres throughout the UK, according to a company spokesperson.
The business, which started in Puerto Rico in 1991, currently operates 200 kiosk-based outlets worldwide, including one at Kent’s Bluewater shopping centre.
Its business model is based on hand rolled, freshly prepared pretzels that are baked in front of the customer at the point of sale.
