Mowgli Street Food is to open a new site in Bristol, on the site of the PizzaExpress at 35, Corn Street.
Nisha Katona, founder of Mowgli said she had trawled the city to find the right location, and is aiming for an October opening for the new site.
Mowgli is also due to open a site in Preston, with a site reportedly lined up in Friargate for an opening next year.
The Foresight Group-backed Indian street food restaurant currently has eight sites across the North West and the Midlands, with openings due in Cardiff (Church Street), and Leicester (St Martins) later this year.
Speaking at the Experience 1010 event in March, Katona said she had five more openings in 2019, which would take the estate to 12, and was looking to open a site in Bristol towards the end of the year “before heading back up north”.
