Four franchisees have now signed up to open sites with Tiger Bills, the “East meets West” neighbourhood dining concept from Lifestyle Hospitality Group (LHG), and six outlets are expected to have opened by the end of the year, M&C Report has learnt.

LHG managing director James Eyre also told M&C Report that he hopes to sign a first master franchise agreement in Asia imminently with plans to open there before the end of the year.

Earlier this year LHG signed up Craig Lewis, a former Greene King operations director and senior operations manager at Pubmaster, as its franchisee for the Midlands region. They are “in legals” on a site in Worcester and also close to securing a venue in Cheltenham, Eyre said.

Separately, a 200-seater location in Consett, County Durham is expected to open at the end of October under a different franchisee. An opening in Whitley Bay, Tyneside, is also expected.
“We hope to have six franchise restaurants opened by the end of the calendar year,” said Eyre.

Eyre told M&C Report earlier this year that the company hopes to grow to 30 franchise sites for Tiger Bills over the next three years.

Tiger Bills currently operates in Birmingham, Exeter and Torquay.
